District Attorney Warren Montgomery announces that today (October 10, 2023), a Washington Parish grand jury indicted Joshua Z. May, age 31 and of Bogalusa, on three counts of 1st degree rape involving a victim under the age of 13 and one count of aggravated crime against nature involving a victim under the age of 13. The acts occurred from May of 2019 until August of 2021 in Bogalusa and began when the victim was 4 years old.
Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the Grand Jury.
