DOTD has announced a road closure in Washington Parish on LA 450 in Washington Parish between Isaac Watson Rd. and Roy Jenkins Rd. for Bridge Replacement.
Closure Details: There will be a complete road closure on LA 450 between Isaac Watson Road and Roy Jenkins Road beginning Monday, October 2, 2023 through November 30, 2023, weather permitting. This closure is necessary for crews to remove and replace the bridge over North Carson Creek.
Special Notes: Fairburn Road is located within the construction limits of the project. Residents, including emergency vehicles, will have access from LA 10 (Stoney Point).
Permit/Detour Section:
- Northbound motorists, including emergency vehicles, traveling north on LA 450 may take LA 450 to LA 10, east on LA 10 to LA 440, west on LA 440 to LA 450.
- Southbound motorists, including emergency vehicles, traveling south on LA 450 may take LA 450 to LA 440, east on LA 440 to LA 10, west on LA 10 to LA 450.
Oversize loads are not permitted.
