David Gustav Henn

December 23, 1967 - August 28, 2023

David Gustav Henn, age 55, went to be with our Lord and Savior on August 28, 2023. David was born to Robert Allen Henn and Peggy Loretta Henn on December 23, 1967. David was an amazing, loving father to three outstanding children. Hannah-Grace Henn, 23, Lillian Pritchett Henn, 19, and David Emerson Henn, 17. He was a resident of Franklinton, Louisiana, where he enjoyed spending time outdoors with his children and family. David was a skilled craftsman who loved working with his hands.

David is survived by his three children: his brother Jeffery Dale Henn; wife Karen Henn of Mobile, Alabama; and their four children Kayla Henn, of South Carolina; Alex Henn, Gavin Henn, and Austin Henn of Mobile, Alabama. His sister, Robin Henn Ligameri, husband, Mark Ligameri, and their two children, Madelynn Ligameri and Eli Ligameri all of Decatur, Georgia. His former wife, Christian Magee-Henn. His father-in-law, Dana Magee, and mother-in-law, Brenda Magee. His brother-in-law, best friend Cody Magee, wife Traci Magee, and their three boys Jacob-Peyton Magee, Evan-Mason Magee, and Jon Wesley Magee, all of Franklinton, Louisiana.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Allen Henn, and his mother, Peggy Loretta Henn.

A graveside ceremony was held on Friday, September 8, 2023, where close family and friends celebrated the life of an amazing man.

Due to David’s affinity for racing dirt bikes, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that any donations be made to the SERA (Southern Enduro Riders Association) Scholarship Fund.
