July 11, 1932 - September 1, 2023

Mary Rayburn McBeth, age 91, passed away September 1, 2023, at Billdora Nursing Home in Tylertown, Mississippi.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, and friend.

Mrs. McBeth was born in Bogalusa, Louisianna and lived there most of her life.  She lived in Tylertown for many years where she was a member of Centerville Missionary Baptist Church in the Dexter community.  After moving back to Bogalusa, she moved her membership to Westside Emmanual Baptist Church.

She worked for Ventilite of Bogalusa for over 40 years, being a very dedicated worker and enjoying her work.  They were all one big happy family working together.  Mary loved gospel music and enjoyed attending many gospel quartet concerts.  She looked forward to holidays, birthdays, or any occasions that brought her family together.  Staying on the go with family and friends was a favorite past time of hers.  She loved spending time with her grandsons, taking them to numerous Mardi Gras parades.  Attending their baseball games always brought her great pleasure.  It also brightened her day to be visited by her great-grandsons, Kyler and Andrew McBeth.  She was also recognized as a Mawmaw to Anna Kate and John Scott “Teal” Ervin, as well as Jack and Jenny Claire “,Gator” Bruhl.

Many traditions were shared with her family and extended family, the Toneys.  Mary and dear friend, Elnora Melear created decades of memories during their 60-year friendship.  Frances Schilling became a part of the friendship and the trio enjoyed many adventures together.  Mrs. McBeth lived a life full of love and laughter.

Mrs. McBeth was preceded in death by her husband, J.W. McBeth; her son, Charles Delbert McBeth; parents Antoinette Cooper Rayburn and Jeff Willard Rayburn; sisters, Wilda Fay Rayburn Jenkins and Margie Rayburn Mitchell; brothers, Roland “Sonny” Rayburn and J.W. “Bouk” Rayburn.
