In an update provided to wwltv.com by Bogalusa Police Spokesman Major Troy Tervalon, a heated argument over a video game console led to a shooting inside a home in the 500 block of Huron in Bogalusa around 9:30 Tuesday morning. Two family members had words and then pulled guns and ended shooting each other. More than 15 shots fired. A female family member was also seriously injured when she attempted to break it up and was struck by one of the bullets from one of the two shooters.
The two shooters are reportedly brothers and the injured woman is their aunt. The three unidentified shooting victims were critically injured. Police seized two handguns inside the house.
Arrests are pending.
