Jerry Moran

August 17, 1948 - August 24, 2023

Jerry Moran, a resident of Bogalusa, LA, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 24, 2023, at the age of 75.  He served in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion, as well as the 40&8.  Jerry was an avid guitarist who loved music and he also enjoyed spending his time outdoors fishing and hunting.  Although Jerry had other loves and interests his grandchildren were his whole world.

Jerry is survived by his son, Aaron (Raven) Moran of Bogalusa, LA; his two brothers, G.G. (Shirley) Moran of Bogalusa, LA and Richard (Betty) Moran of Franklinton, LA; and his grandchildren, Jacob Moran, Hunter Martin, Caleb Moran, and Owen Moran and a bonus grandchild, Chloe Stogner.  He is also survived by his beloved dog Buddy and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife, Ann D. Moran; his son, Danon Moran; parents, Lawrence and Barbara Moran; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald (Renate) Moran; and a sister, Jeanette Brumfield.

A memorial service for Jerry will be held at a later date.
