The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash which occurred Tuesday (July 4, 2023) evening on Isabel Swamp Road near Highway 40 in the Bush area.
At approximately 7:45 p.m. Tuesday, STPSO deputies were dispatched to Isabel Swamp Road in reference to a vehicle which had crashed into the trees and was on fire.
The two occupants of the vehicle, whose identities have not been released, were pronounced dead on scene by EMS personnel.
The initial investigation into the crash indicates the vehicle was headed southbound on Isabel Swamp Road when for unknown reasons it exited the roadway and crashed into the tree line.
