Disturbance 1. Tropical Storm Don is now moving west-northwestward at 7 MPH with 50 MPH maximum sustained winds. Don is expected to turn northward over the weekend. There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect.
Disturbance 2. A tropical wave is located a few hundred miles southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands in the eastern Tropical Atlantic. Environmental conditions could become more conducive for some development this weekend as the system moves westward across the central tropical Atlantic. Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent and formation chance through 7 days...low...20 percent.
