Slidell Police Arrest Two / Firearms and Drugs Found

Last Thursday (July 13, 2023), the Slidell Police Narcotics Division with the assistance of the FBI New Orleans Gang Task Force executed a search warrant at a Slidell residence. During the execution of the search warrant, detectives recovered three firearms (one which was reported stolen out of New Orleans), suspected powdered fentanyl, suboxone, oxycodone, and tapentadol. Two male juveniles were also found alone inside of the residence. 

After further investigation, the Slidell Police Narcotics Division arrested a 33-year-old Kevin Carr and 31-year Carleen Causey, both of Slidell. 

Carr was charged with Distribution/Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II, Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses, Drug Paraphernalia, Driver Must Be Licensed, and Possession of Schedule I. 

Causey was charged with Possession of Schedule II, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Transactions Involving Proceeds from Drug Offenses
