Lloyd Raymond Wright

August 12, 1965 - May 30, 2023

Lloyd Raymond Wright, age 57 and a resident of Kentwood, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Tuesday night May 30, 2023 after a long battle with liver cancer. He was a born again believer that gave his heart and soul to Jesus Christ. Lloyd was a mechanic by trade and he always loved spending time in the outdoors.

Survived by: Wife of 35 years: Donna “Sissy” Wright; 2 Step-daughters and a Son in law: Angie and Gary Luper, Pamela “Becky” Varnado; 10 Grandchildren: Thristian, Ethan, Missouri, Joseph, Ashlynn, Cameron, Alesia, Isabelle, Autumn, Fredrick, Jr.; 4 Great-grandchildren: Andrew, Madison, Luke, Everleigh; 2 Brothers and a Sister in law: Harold Otis Wright, Jr. and Pam Wright, Brad Wright; Sister in law and Brother in law: Connie and T.J. Bennett; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

He was preceded in death by his mother Audry Mae Dupre, father Harold Otis Wright, brother Jerry Wright, and stepson Fredrick “Lee” Varnado.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Friday June 2nd from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel with Bro. Sonny Travis officiating. Burial will follow in the Arcola Cemetery.

The family wishes to express a sincere thank you to the staff of Passages Hospice for their care and support and also to Erin, Mack and Scott for providing the beautiful flower spray.
