Douglas Palmintier, a resident of Kentwood, LA, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond, LA. He was born December 28, 1946 in New Orleans, LA and was 76 years of age.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Susan Palmintier; beloved pets, Kody, Shadow and Smokey; grandchildren, Cara, Skylar and Austin Palmintier; nephews, Doc Simmons and wife, Victoria and Johnny Simmons and wife, Traci; niece, Kay Wood and husband, Dave; great-nephews, Wesley Simmons and wife, Lauren and Wyatt Simmons; cousin, Melanie Deere.
Preceded in death by his parents, Johnny and Maxine Palmintier; son, Corey Palmintier; sister, Karen Simmons.
A celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice House.
