Today we celebrate the life of Jakolby Roy Bolton a devoted child of God, a loving son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend.

Jakolby Roy Bolton was born August 29, 2004, in Covington, La. to Mrs. Mady Martin Bolton and Mr. Roy S. Bolton.

Jakolby was a 2022 graduate of Bogalusa High School in Bogalusa La. Jakolby enjoyed being around his family and friends. Jakolby had a smile that would light up any room.

Jakolby was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Beulah Martin, and Lovell Martin; paternal grandparents, Charlene Bolton, and Milton Bolton; maternal great grandparents, Beulah B Carter, and Rev. Landy Carter, Sr.; aunts, Linda Conerly, LaJulia Conerly, Shirley Bolton-Bickham, and Penny Bolton; God father, Tommy “Spanky” Clark Jr.; uncle, Milton Bolton, Jr.; a great uncle, Rev. Landy Carter, Jr., great uncle, Buddy Carter; great aunt, Carrie Davis; great grandparents, Mady Martin Graves and John.

Jakolby leaves to cherish his memories his mother, Mady Martin Bolton; his father, Roy S Bolton; sister, Ariel Bolton; cousin/sister, Diamond D Martin; aunts, Latasha (Garland) Adams, Cynthia (Roy) Godbolt, Arlesa Pleasant; uncle, Andre (Denise) Martin, Kenneth (Diane) Bolton; a special G-mom, Toiloria Young Moss & children, Tatyana, Damion Jr., and Laron; Godmother, Claudia Warner; God sister, Jameka Hill; nephew, Donald Meache Brumfield Jr., and a host of great-aunts & cousins, other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from on Saturday, June 3, 2023 from 11:00am – 1:00PM followed by funeral service at 1:00PM, at Greater Salter Chapel A.M.E Church Bogalusa, LA with Rev. Debra Branch MDIV, Pastor, and affiliating Apostle Clayton Bullock. Interment - Bogalusa Cemetery.
