Relious "Pee Wee" Miller

September  23, 1932 - April 5, 2023

Relious "Pee Wee" Miller, age 90 and a resident of the Warnerton Community, passed away early Wednesday morning April 5, 2023 at his home. Small in stature, he was affectionately known as "Pee Wee" to his friends and family. He was a longtime active member of Star Hill Baptist Church and a veteran of the United States Army. Relious, alongside his family, operated a dairy farm for many years and he also worked as a boilermaker, both locally and in neighboring states. He was an avid quail hunter in his younger years and had bird dogs that he hunted with throughout our area and Mississippi. Relious enjoyed traveling to the mountains on family vacations and spending time visiting with his friends. He had a great sense of humor and often played pranks and joked around with his family and friends. He was always a loving husband, father and grandfather.

Survived by: Wife of 69 years: Annie Bell Sims Miller; 2 Sons and a Daughter in law: Dale and Shelia Miller, Darrell Miller; Daughter and Son in law: Jackie and Randy Branch; 5 Grandchildren and Spouses: Guy Miller, Autumn and Chad Bryant, Cherish and Justin Crockett, Chase and Paige Branch, Rhiannon Miller and Robert; 11 Great-grandchildren and a Spouse: Gabe Miller, Reese Miler, Bre’leigh Bryant, Paityn Bryant, Avery Crockett, Alex Crockett, Presly Phillips, Jackson Branch, Reese Branch, Bryson Branch, Jake and Ashlynn Miller; Great-great-grandchild: Branson Miller; Sisters in law and a Brother in law: Melba Tompkins, Ellen and Johnny Fortner; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

He was preceded in death by his parents Otis Miller and Dessie Dillon Miller, granddaughter in law Angela Kennedy Miller, great-granddaughter Taylor Miller, brother and sister in law Ray and Jeanette Miller, sisters and brothers in law Essie and Clyde Toney, Ann and Ray Magee, father in law and mother in law Hollis and Nancy Sims, sister in law and brother in law Carrie Faye and Lavoy Bennett, sister in law Annie Pearl Dickerson, brother in law Mack Tompkins.

Visitation will be at Star Hill Missionary Baptist Church Friday April 7th from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 1:00 pm Friday with Eld. Jason Skipper, Eld. Don Jacobs and Eld. Lavon Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
