The Washington Parish Animal Shelter has announced the following:
April 12th New construction starts and will go on for the next few weeks.
April 20th Shelter staff will be at another continuing education class. These classes help staff learn new ways to improve and better offer assistance.
May 6th The shelter will be at the chamber of commerce event on Pearl Street in Franklinton. The shelter will have adoptables, tags, raffle items and much more.
May 13th The shelter will be throwing an event called Color with Canines! Not only will this be a fun family event indoors with food and activities, but it will also be an open house to promote and have all view the new shelter.
