Hillary Morgan Shockley
October 17, 1991 - March 28, 2023
2nd Timothy 4:7-8 I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day and not only to me, but also to all who have longed for his appearing.
Morgan was a beautiful soul who will be dearly missed by so many. She spent her life showing love to those around her.
Hillary Morgan Shockley, a resident of Easleyville, LA, left this life on March 28, 2023. She was born October 17, 1991 at North Oaks Medical Center in Hammond, LA. Morgan was 31 years of age.
She is survived by her beautiful daughter, Austyn Elizabeth Shockley; parents, Don and Angela Lee Shockley; sister, Hannah Wilkinson and husband, Jacob; niece and nephews, Brooks Wilkinson, Rivers Wilkinson, and Collins Wilkinson; maternal grandparents, George Eddie and Alice Faye Lee; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, William Edward and Helen Burnthorne Shockley; cousin, Douglas Shockley.
We extend much gratitude to the Recovery Community for their significant role they played in Mo’s life.
Visitation at First Baptist Church of Kentwood, LA from 9:00am until religious services at 12:00pm on Saturday, April 1, 2023. Services conducted by Pastors Darryl Miller and Mervin Strother. Interment Wales Cemetery, Greensburg, LA. Pallbearers will be Jake Bourgeois, Collin Lee, Dillon Lee, Drew Piner, Matthew Shockley, and Scott Puls.
