Obituary

Ricky Roberts

October 5, 1965 - March 1, 2023

Ricky Roberts, age 57 and a resident of Mount Hermon, passed away Wednesday afternoon March 1, 2023 at the Southwest Regional Medical Center in McComb, MS. He attended Mt. Hermon High School and then worked alongside his family on their dairy farm for many years. Ricky and his family later became the owners of Pizza Pete’s restaurant in Franklinton in 2005 and maintained their successful business to this day. He loved NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Jr., and went to the Talladega races each year with his friends. Ricky was also an avid college football fan, his favorite being the Alabama Crimson Tide. He enjoyed attending car shows like Cruisin the Coast and Scrapin the Coast each year. He loved to take his side by side mud riding, getting stuck more often than he would admit, and he liked to cookout for his friends and family. Ricky would often start his day at Franktown Nutrition visiting with the folks he met each morning. He will be remembered as a kind hearted friend to so many and he always lived life to the fullest.
