St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Charles Preston has positively identified the woman killed in a head-on collision this afternoon (March 8, 2023) near Covington. Pearl W. Descant, age 83 and of Franklinton, died after the wreck on Hwy. 25 shortly before 2:00 PM today.
Louisiana State Police are investigating the crash. No further details are available at this time.
