On Wednesday (March 8, 2023), Covington Police Narcotics Officers and Louisiana DOC Probation & Parole Agents executed an arrest warrant and search warrant in the 1100 block of S. Madison St. in Covington and located an seized the following: 410 dosage units of MDMA (Ecstasy), 56 dosage units of pressed oxycodone (suspected Fentanyl), 48 dosage units of Xanax, 33 grams of Cocaine (powder), 16 dosage units of Hydrocodone, 8 dosage units of Vyvanse, 1.5 pounds of Marijuana, 30 THC vape cartridges, 30 grams of THC wax, Digital scales and packaging materials, Smith and Wesson .40 S&W handgun, and Valuables exchanged for Narcotics
As a result of this investigation, two occupants of the residence, 38 year-old Leigh Ann Kohler and 22 year-old David Joseph Landry, were arrested. Both were charged with multiple narcotics-related offenses, Possession of a Firearm with Drugs, Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon, and Probation Violation.
