Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office Concludes Months-long Investigation – Drugs & Guns Found – Arrests Made

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office concluded an investigation spanning several months where alleged drug activity was taking place at a residence in the Woodlake Estates Subdivision off Old Covington Highway in Hammond, La.

Chief Jimmy Travis says on February 10, 2023, investigators executed a search warrant at the Kingland Drive residence, in which a large amount of narcotics and other paraphernalia were found. Prior to the execution of the search warrant, 29 year old Davondey Robinson and 41 year old Ashley Slocum were identified as the suspects residing in the home. 

As a result of the search warrant law enforcement seized nearly 4 pounds of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 5 ounces of suspected cocaine, approximately 3.5 ounces of suspected heroin, approximately 2.5 ounces of suspected crack cocaine, two bottle of suspected promethazine syrup, and approximately 3 ounces of suspected marijuana. 

Investigators also located paraphernalia in the residence which was consistent with that of manufacturing crack cocaine, as well as paraphernalia consistent with that of mixing unknown products with suspected heroin. Three firearms were also located within the residence, one of which being a pistol which had been reported stolen through the Hammond Police Department.


















Both Robinson and Slocum were charged with Convicted felon in possession of a firearm (2 counts), Possession of firearm while in possession of controlled dangerous substance (2 counts), Possession with the intent to distribute CDS I (2 counts), Possession with the intent to distribute CDS II (3 counts), Manufacturing cocaine base, Possession of CDS IV, Possession of a legend drug (2 counts), and Possession of drug paraphernalia. 

Micarious Mack was the third subject present, who was charged with several traffic violations as well as Possession of CDS II

All persons accused of a crime are considered innocent until proven guilty.
