Wendell Leonard Stogner

August 24, 1952 - February 13, 2023

Wendell Leonard Stogner, age 70 and a resident of the Stateline Community, passed away Monday morning February 13, 2023 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. He worked on survey crews for different companies through the years. Wendell was part of the surveying for many projects all over the Northshore including several highway construction jobs and other large projects. He enjoyed fishing and loved to go deer and turkey hunting. Wendell was a longtime member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church.

Survived by: 5 Siblings and Spouses: Eddie and Charlene Stogner, Valerie and Wilson Seal, Marilyn and Jimmy Brumfield, Wanda Gail Stogner, Todd and Frankie Stogner; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews and other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ray Stogner and Elvie Tynes Stogner, an infant sister Linda Sue Stogner, recently by a brother Reggie Stogner and sister Loraine Stogner and his grandparents.

Visitation will be at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday February 15th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the church at 11:00 am Wednesday with Bro. Brent King and Bro. Trey Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stogner Family Cemetery.

Pallbearers are his nephews Gavin LeMaire, Jared Seal, Jason Caillouet, Landon Brumfield, Josh Stogner, William Stogner, Nick Stogner.
