Mother Ester Lee Bickham Warren

February 8, 1930 - January 18, 2023

On Wednesday, January 18, 2023 Mother Ester Lee Bickham Warren made her transition into the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after 92 years of living a blessed and precious life on the Lord’s earth.

Mother Warren was born on February 8, 1930 to the late James and Bertha Lewis Bickham. She was a strong and loving single parent who raised her seven children. She guided her children through Christ, her prayers, wisdom, teaching, and faith. She loved the Lord with all her heart and soul and instilled that love in her children, grandchildren, family, friends, and loved ones.

Mother Warren leaves to cherish her precious memories upon her four daughters, Irma, Mamie, Christine, and Frances (Elie); two sons, Jerry (Pamela) and Curtis (Genevia) and her special niece, Mary; four sisters, Angie, Bernice, Mary and Christine; 25 grandchildren; 59 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends.

Mother Warren is preceded in death by her parents, James and Bertha; her oldest daughter, Emma Warren Young; great grandson, Miguel Marrero, Jr.; five sisters, Vergie Lee, Lillie Mae, Dorothy Mae, Earnestine, and Georgie Lee; three brothers, Johnny, James, and Henry Bickham.

A drive through viewing will be held on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held in on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 1:00PM at the Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness USA with Pastor Wesley Jones- Officiating. Interment - Greater Hayes Cemetery. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
