Douglas Henry Sykes
January 5, 1946 - January 19, 2023
Douglas Henry Sykes passed away at his home on January 19th, 2023. He was 77 years old and a member of Terrace Baptist Church and the American Legion. Retired from the International Paper Box Plant and MCCA.
He is survived by a daughter: Shelly Sue Wall; a son: James Douglas (Jamie) Sykes; four granddaughters: Whitney Kay, Jammye Beth, Brook and Morgan; four great-granddaughters: Ryleigh, Olivia, Alaina, and Reid Harper.
He was preceeded in death by his parents: Manual and Luevern Anglin Sykes; a sister and brother-in-law; Mary Nell and James Stephens; and a brother and sister-in-law; Jerry and Barbara Sykes.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM on January 24, 2023 at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. A Funeral Service will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home at 11:00 AM on January 25, 2023. Interment will be at Hillview Memorial Gardens.
