Disturbance 1. Hurricane Lisa is expected to strengthen as it moves west and approaches Belize. Lisa is a threat to Central America and the Yucatan Peninsula. Weakening is expected after it makes landfall in Belize later today. Lisa should not be a threat to our area.
Disturbance 2. A complex, broad area of low pressure is expected to develop this weekend near the Greater Antilles or over the southwestern Atlantic. Some slow subtropical or tropical development of this system is possible afterward while it moves generally northward to northwestward. The system should not be a threat to our area.
Disturbance 3. Tropical Storm Martin, located in the central Atlantic and 755 miles east northeast of Bermuda, is expected to become a Hurricane today. Martin is no threat to our area.
