Obituary

Johnny L. Dillon

February 2, 1946 - September 18, 2022

And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. Rev 21:4

To serve to follow to live a Christian life, a faithful soldier marches with reverence for man & God.

On the evening of September 18, 2022 the Lord called Mr. Johnny L. Dillon home.

Johnny was well known and respected member of his community, he was a faithful church member & also a deacon at Bethlehem Baptist Church. Johnny always had a smile on his face everywhere you saw him. He always had a helping hand for anything that needed to be done. He will be greatly missed from his community & his family.

Mr. Johnny L. Dillon leaves to cherish his wonderful memories to his two sons Andrelique (Toni) Dural, Roynes (Bull) Dural. Three daughters, Marion Dural, La’Rhonde St.Amont and Danielle Williams. Three sisters Kay Pouncey and Audrey Williams both of Covington, LA. and Betty Johnson of Lafayette LA. Three brothers Johnny H. Dillon, Lionell Dillon of Covington, LA, and Charles Johnson of Houston, TX. And a host of great nieces and great nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by wife Hattie Dillon, His parents Aleyre Summer and Hilton Dillon, Sr. Daughter Shondrika Whittine, Hillen Dillon, Jr. Rose White, Linus Riles, Robert Earl and Michael

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on September 30, 2022 at Cook-Richmond Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. A Family Gathering will follow from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on October 1, 2022 at Bethlehem Baptist Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana.
