Delores Harry Mingo

November 7, 1936 - September 23, 2022

Mrs. Delores Harry Mingo passed away at the age of 85 at Brookside Rehabilitation in Bogalusa, La. She departed this life on Friday, September 23, 2022. 

She leaves to cherish her memories six children, Marie (Charles) Robinson, Gary (Cynthia) Mingo, Joel V. Mingo, Arletia Gatlin, Loletia (Elgrie) Lewis, and Myoshia (Earl) Robinson. Thirteen Grandchildren: Pernell Mingo, Shakia (Kenneth) Keys, Clyde Gatlin, III, Ashley Gatlin, Ebony Mingo, Courtney May, Ashley May, Alandus Bickham, Dominique Mingo, Danielle Mingo, Jo’Keithia Powell, Eral Robinson, and Zoë Robinson.  Nineteen Great-grandchildren:  Dantasia Dyson, Darian Vargas, Khloe Vargas-Mingo, DeJavon Cotton, Kenyen Keys, Clijanae Gatlin, Destiny Gatlin, Clyde Gatlin, IV, Brandon Tardy, Jr., Brandi Tardy, Bryant Tardy, Brennan Tardy, Landon Bickham, Nehemiah Bickham, Braxton Bickham, Roman Bickham, Ava McCaskill, Ivan Brooks, Jr., and Kamari Martin.  One Great-Great Grandchild: Ailah Amour Dolce Collins. Three God-Children: Cheryl Lewis, Ivan Lewis, and Teandrea Moore. One Sister, Ora D. Williams.  Two Sisters-in-law:  Hazel Harry and Cary Mae Harry.  In addition to a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Susie Harry, her husband, Milton Delos Mingo, a son Alandus Mingo, and siblings Robert Harry, James Edward Harry, William Charles Harry, and Eugene Harry, Jr. 

Drive through viewing Friday, September 30, 2022 from 4:00PM – 6:00PM at Crain and Sons Funeral Home- Bogalusa.

Funeral Service Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 1:00PM at Live Oak United Methodist Church. Interment – Live Oak Cemetery.
