Edderick Carde Penton

August 30, 1991 - August 26, 2022

Edderick Carde Penton aka "SupaEd" was born on August 30, 1991 in Bogalusa, Louisiana to Sharyl Penton and Eddie Robinson. Edderick passed away unexpectedly on August 26, 2022 in Houston, Texas. Edderick was the third of 5 children. He was always a happy and loveable child raised in the fear and admonition of the Lord (meaning he was raised in the church). Edderick graduated from Bogalusa High School in the class of 2009 where he was a member of the Bogalusa High School Lumberjacks football team. After High School Ed attended Pearl River College and also played on the football team. After attending college Ed moved to Memphis to attend Barber School. He also played on a semi professional football team. After this Ed decided to join the United States Navy and after leaving the Navy he settled back home in Bogalusa, LA. Ed always seemed to make those around him laugh Edderick loved music and also loved making music to inspire you. Edderick's vibrant spirit will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him. Ed always seemed to make those around him laugh. Edderick loved music and also loved making music to inspire people. Edderick's vibrant spirit will continue to live on through all who knew and loved him. 

Edderick is survived by his parents; Rayfield and Sharyl Burris and Eddie and Debra Robinson; 4 sisters Tonnica(Jessie) Penton, Stasha R. Burris, Eboney Williams and Denecia Robinson; 5 brothers; Sharrod(Kylandis) Darden, Rayfield (Krystal) Burris, Brandon Perkins, Delvin and Desean Hebert, cousins he considered he brothers and sisters, Sara, Kennia, and Justin Brown, Chris Dixon, Reggie Penton, Ryan Harry and Christopher Collins; 2 special Aunts; Gretchen Brown and Regina Greely, a very special friend Domonique Magee, a host of uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents and two uncles, Johnny W Penton and Edwin J. Burris

The Funeral Service will at 3:00 PM on September 4, 2022 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church in Bogalusa, Louisiana.

Cook-Richmond Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
