Harold Edward Smith
January 5, 1941 - August 17, 2022
Mr. Harold Edward Smith passed away on Wednesday August 17, 2022, at his home in Bogalusa, LA., surrounded by his family. Harold was a long-time member of Highland Baptist Church. Mr. Harold proudly served his country, in the United States Air Force for four years during the Korean War. He loved playing golf and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by two daughters Melissa Fraser (Bobby), Robin Prophett (David). One brother Larry Smith. One sister Sylvia Smith Ellis. Four grandchildren Trevor (Kaitlin) Fraser, Courtney (Brandon) Bills, Madison (Tyler) Olah, and Dillon Prophett. Four great grandchildren Peyton Bills, Dalton Bills, Oakley Olah, Karson Olah.
Harold is proceeded in death by his wife of fifty-nine years, Mrs. Glenda Smith. One infant daughter. Son-in-law Edward “Trey” Randolph Fraser. Brother Ernest Smith, Jr. Sister Jimmie Nell Smith Page.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend services at Brown McGehee Funeral on Sunday August 21, 2022, visitation will begin at 11am until service time at 2pm. Interment immediately following at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Sun, LA., with full Military Honors being performed by American Legion Post 24.
