Obituary

Brianne Makinley Pittman

July 21, 2006 - July 1, 2022

Our Precious Brianne Makinley was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven on Friday July 1, 2022. Our hearts are so broken, but there is a peace in knowing she is in heaven in the arms of Jesus Christ.

Bri was looking forward to her junior year at Pine High School. She was on the Lady Raider Volleyball Team and powerlifting team. She was also in the Bible club and secretary of FFA. Although her time with us was short, she made a lasting impact on all who knew her. She was a loyal friend and will be missed by many.

Brianne was the oldest of her four siblings, and she had a special bond with each one. Bri, Shelbie, and Brynley share the love of riding horses together. She loved hunting and fishing with her daddy and her brother Ty, and was looking forward to sharing this love with her youngest brother Luke.

Bri was creative and had so many talents but what really set her apart was her love for the Lord and her love for horses. There was no place she would rather be than at the barn with her Pa riding and taking care of her many horses. She was so blessed to have a Memaw and Pa that encouraged and supported her love for riding. Bri had a passion for riding horses that began from the time she could sit up. Anyone who has ever seen her ride has witnessed first hand her God given talent. She was competitive but also enjoyed riding for pleasure. There are no words to describe the way she made you feel when watching her. She was definitely born to ride. We smile knowing she will be riding her special horse Blaze in heaven, and we look forward to seeing her ride again. She had a special Austrian Shepherd dog named Rhett.
