Sheila Burton Taylor

April 21, 1965 - June 21, 2022

Sheila L. Burton Taylor was born on April 21, 1965 to the late Nathaniel “Sock” Burton and the late Linda Bickham Burton. Sheila was the fourth of five children.

Sheila was blessed with 3 children whom she loved dearly. Glynn E. Burton, Jeromy M. Burton, and Daja J. Burton. They blessed her with 6 grandbabies that she loved, adored, and spoiled. Lucas, Omari, Jayceon A’Niyah, A’Lyvia Burton, and Malaya Cox

Sheila met the love of her life in 2006 Earnest Taylor of Tylertown, MS. They were together for several years before making it official on November 25, 2017

Sheila leaves to cherish her loving memories her husband, Earnest Taylor; her children, Glynn, Jeromy (Antiezia), and Daja Burton; her siblings, Vanessa (Isaiah) Davis, Michael (Lora) Burton, and Lisa Burton; a host of nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law.aunts, uncles, cousins, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and friends.

Sheila is preceded by her parents, Nathaniel and Linda Burton

A Drive-through viewing will be Friday, July 8, 2022 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, LA from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Funeral Service will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 am at Plainview Church of Christ Holiness in Mt. Hermon, LA with Elder Albert Brumfield pastor officiating. Interment will be held in Plainview Cemetery. 

Crain and Sons Funeral Home, Franklinton are in charge of arrangements.
