Melody Laws
February 20, 1959 - July 18, 2022
On July 18, 2022, Mrs. Melody Ann Laws passed away at Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. She was a lifelong resident of Angie, LA and loved spending her time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Laws also enjoyed camping and experiencing life with her husband.
She is survived by her loving husband: Robert Laws; two sons: Gary (Holly) Hawkins, Jr. and Robert (Kayla) Laws II; three daughters: Kimberly (Andy) Miller, Melody (Shawn) Fitzmorris, and Jeanne Hawkins; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; her father: Melvin Tauzier; a brother: Melvin Tauzier, Jr.; two sisters: Sue Crawford and Janis Puissegur; and a host of friends and family.
Mrs. Laws was preceded in death by her mother, Mrs. Betty Clogher Tauzier and her grandparents.
Brown-McGehee Funeral Home was entrusted with final arrangements. Visitation will start in the funeral home chapel at 12PM on Monday, July 25, 2022, and continue until time of service at 4PM. Interment will immediately follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Bogalusa, LA.
