"The Varnado Store Museum Board Members and American Legion Post 24 would like to extend an invitation to you to join us on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at 2 p.m. for a Memorial Day Ceremony. The ceremony will include various speakers, a 21-gun salute and the playing of taps. We will meet behind the Museum's annex (in Franklinton, Louisiana).
Let's keep in our minds and hearts, the memory of those men and women who served our country and countrymen, and gave the most ultimate sacrifice, their life. The Museum will be open to view our exhibit, "Saluting the Military", with memorabilia dating back till the Civil War and up to present day. The exhibit will remain up until the end of July.
Should you want to view the exhibit prior to the Memorial Day Ceremony, we are opened on Saturdays 10 a.m. till 4 p.m. and on Sundays 1 p.m. till 4 p.m."
