Loraine Stogner

April 21, 1949 - May 13, 2022

Loraine Stogner, age 73 and a resident of the Stateline Community, passed away Friday afternoon May 13, 2022 at Resthaven Living Center in Bogalusa after a lengthy illness. She was retired after a long career as an information operator for BellSouth. Loraine was a lifelong member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church that truly believed in the power of prayer. She prayed for her family, church family, community and all others in need. Loraine loved to travel and went on many family vacations and church trips to Tennessee, Branson, Missouri and other areas around the country. She was a sweet-spirited, loving person to all that knew her. Loraine adored her son, grandchildren and siblings and cherished all the time they spent together.

Survived by: Son and Daughter in law: Gavin and Jessica LeMaire of Stateline; Grandchildren and a Spouse: Caleb and Rebekah LeMaire, Zachary LeMaire, Luke LeMaire, Leigha LeMaire; Great-granddaughter: MaryKate LeMaire; 6 Siblings and Spouses: Eddie and Charlene Stogner, Wendell Stogner, Valerie and Wilson Seal, Marilyn and Jimmy Brumfield, Wanda Gail Stogner, Todd and Frankie Stogner; Also numerous beloved nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death recently by her brother Reginald Lynn “Reggie” Stogner, an infant sister Linda Sue Stogner, parents Ray Stogner and Elvie Tynes Stogner and her grandparents.

Visitation will be at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church (31384 Hwy. 62, Franklinton) on Sunday May 15th from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 2:00 pm Sunday with Rev. Trey Jenkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Stogner Family Cemetery.
