Charles Hunter Blackwell

August 23, 2001 - May 2, 2022

On May 2, 2022, Charles Hunter Blackwell received his wings from God. He is a resident of Sun, La and Isabel, La. He worked for Bip and Sons Services. He was an amazing young man that touched the hearts of many. He loved his family, friends, trucks, and his puppy, Zoey. He was truly a one of a kind that can never be replaced. He loved spending time with his family, friends, and working on his trucks. There is never a dull moment when he is around, everyone will laugh and he just brightens everyone’s day. He has a heart of gold, and is always there when anyone needs him. He is an ambitious young man that always dreams big and done everything he could to reach his dreams. He is a perfect soul and will be missed by many.

He is survived by his mother: Amanda L Williams; his father: Kenneth R Meyers of Isabel, LA; three brothers: Nicholas (Savanna) Meyers of Isabel, LA, Clay (Ashton) Meyers of Isabel, LA, and Steven T. Blackwell of Bush, LA; two sisters: Alexis L Blackwell of Sun, LA and Alissa L Williams of Isabel, LA; grandparents: Charles O. ”Buddy” Williams of Sun, LA, Janet Meyers of Madisonville, LA, Jackie L Pierce of Bogalusa, LA, and Steve (Rhonda) Blackwell of Bush, LA; a special great-aunt Beverly Blackwell; five nephews: Levi, Lane, Cayden, Emerick, and Jayson; two nieces: Jade and Ka ’Leigha; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins, family, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents: Charles “Buck” Williams, Edith G Williams, Tillie Blackwell, Gayle P Blackwell, Walter “Pomp” Pierce, and Maxine R Pierce.

Services will be at Brown-McGehee Funeral Home in Bogalusa, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the Service at 3:00 PM. Interment will be at Williams Cemetery.
