Mamie Schilling Burch

July 2, 1928 - May 28, 2022

Mamie Schilling Burch, age 93 and a resident of the Mount Pisgah Community, died Saturday afternoon May 28, 2022 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She worked alongside her husband in the family dairy business for many years and later enjoyed tending to her pretty flowers and vegetable garden. Mamie was a lifelong member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church. She truly loved the Lord and her church family. She played the piano at countless services through the years and provided meals for any and all events or gatherings the church hosted. Mamie was a blessing to her extended family and deeply cared for all her friends within her church family and community.

She is survived by: Otho Schilling and his family; Sister and Brother in law: Nell and Steve Webb; Sisters in law: Frances Schilling, Tanda Schilling, Doris Schilling; Also numerous beloved nieces, nephews and cousins

She was preceded in death by her husband A.W. Burch, parents Silas Schilling and Lettie Mae Miller Schilling, sister and brother in law Juanita and Dorman Corkern, brothers and sisters in law Cilmon and Nell Schilling, J.W. “Doc” and Eleanor Schilling, brothers Donnie R. Schilling, Ronnie L. “Goat” Schilling and Abner Schilling.

Visitation will be at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church Wednesday June 1st from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 12:00 pm Wednesday with Rev. James Kemp officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
