Charles "Chuck" Marshall Richardson, Jr.

October 20, 1962 - April 8, 2022

Charles “Chuck” Marshall Richardson, Jr. of Metairie, Louisiana passed away at The Sanctuary of Passages Hospice on April 8, 2022, from kidney failure and liver cancer. He was born in Bogalusa, Louisiana on October 20, 1962. His father was the late Charles Marshall Richardson, Sr., and he is survived by his mother Mary Sandra Pole Richardson.

Even though he moved to Metairie, Louisiana, he still considered Bogalusa his second home.

Chuck was kind, loving, and funny. The hearts of his mother, sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews are broken, but they will forever remember him as the “Uncle Chuckie” he was.

Chuck is survived by a family who will miss him dearly: Mother:  Mary Sandra Pole Richardson; Sisters: Susan Tamzin Richardson Taylor (Toye) of Bogalusa, Louisiana, Pamela Anne Richardson Blundell (Gordon) of Mandeville, Louisiana, Tricia Lynn Richardson Jenkins of Thibodaux, Louisiana, Leslie Kathryn Richardson Borel of Madisonville, Louisiana and Charlotte, North Carolina, Diane Elizabeth Richardson Polit (Jean Michel) of Castelnau Le Lez, France, Laura Leigh Richardson Prudhomme of Cary, North Carolina; Nieces and Nephews: Leigh Anne Taylor, Christopher Ryan Taylor, Steven Charles Taylor, William Marshall Taylor, Gordon Lane Blundell III, Eric Charles Blundell, Reid Marshall Blundell, Weston Wells Blundell, Scott Alan Jenkins, Stacey Lynn Jenkins Nichols, Jennifer Diane Jenkins Harman,    Robert Charles Borel, Matthew Dwayne Borel, Marc Richardson Polit, Claire Yvette Polit, Luc Charles Polit, Timothy Mark Prudhomme, Rebecca Diane Prudhomme Keel, Anthony Jules Prudhomme, Everett Charles Prudhomme, Finnian Wayne Prudhomme; 18 Great Nieces and Great Nephews

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles M. Richardson, Sr., as well as one nephew, Michael Kyle Taylor.

A church service will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at 10 am at Annunciation Catholic Church. Graveside burial will be held immediately afterwards in Ponemah Cemetery in Bogalusa, Louisiana. 

Pallbearers will be Robert Charles Borel, Matthew Dwayne Borel, Christopher Ryan Taylor, Cullen Dean Nichols, Gordon Blundell, and Toye Taylor
