Franklinton Mayor and Board Meeting of April 12, 2022

The Franklinton and Board of Aldermen met on April 12, 2022 and addressed the Agenda. 

The Agenda included approving the alcohol permit for K&V Grocery, declaring the Police Department's armored vehicle to be surplus property, approved the hiring of Crenata Baker for the Public Works Department, granting the Mayor the authority to sign an intergovernmental agreement with Washington Parish Government for sidewalk improvements (both sides of Main Street from Washington Street to the Fairgrounds), hearing reports from Public Works Supervisor Reginald McMasters and Municipal Clerk Ellen Waskom, and approving the Planning and Zoning recommendation to approve the WSTE substation on James Stafford Road.

The meeting adjourned following further comments from the Aldermen and Mayor Route.
