St. Tammany Grand Jury Indicts Man and Woman in Rape of Victim Under 13

District Attorney Warren Montgomery reports that on February 16, 2022, a St. Tammany grand jury indicted Brandy Marie Seal, age 34 and of Slidell, and Derek M. Polk age 36 and an inmate in the Rayburn Correctional Institution, of two counts of first-degree rape – victim under the age of 13. Seal was also indicted for an additional count of aggravated crime against nature – victim under 13. 

The District Attorney expressed his thanks to the St. Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office - Special Victim’s Unit for their outstanding investigation in this case.

Assistant District Attorney Ysonde Boland presented the case to the grand jury.
