Joyce Kirschner Bennett

April 19, 1953 - February 1, 2022

Joyce Kirschner Bennett, age 68 and a resident of Franklinton, passed away Tuesday evening February 1, 2022 at Riverside Medical Center. She was a member of Stateline Missionary Baptist Church that loved to host her large family for all their holiday gatherings each year. Joyce loved to bake pies and make delicious chicken ‘n dumplins. She enjoyed sewing and made wedding gowns, prom dresses and other stylish items for her daughters and family. Joyce also enjoyed taking road trips as often as she could, including taking trips to see family throughout the country. She loved spending quality time with her family most of all.

Survived by: 2 Daughters and Sons in law: Kristal and Shawn Bonner of Wylie, TX, Jessica and Gavin LeMaire of the Stateline Community; Son and Daughter in law: Robert Bennett, Jr. and Rachel Bennett of Covington; Grandchildren: Marcus Bonner, Joshua Bonner, Dakota Bennett and Gabby Heck, Kayla Bennett and Anthony Kephart, Caleb and Rebekah LeMaire, Zachary LeMaire, Lucas LeMaire, Leigha LeMaire, Jordon Bennett, Savannah Bennett and Bradley Russell, Dale Jones, Maci Terrebonne, Molly Terrebonne, Kamrie Bennett; Great-grandchildren: Zoey, Aiden, Colston, Greyson, Korbyn, Tate, Bryson, whom she was currently caring for, Elaine, Jordon, Jr., Ellie Jo; expected great-grandchild MaryKate, and other great-grandchildren; Sisters: Sandee Palluck of Minnesota, Connie Cowley of Utah, Lisa McClain of Nevada; Also numerous nieces and nephews

She was preceded in death by her son Scott Bennett, grandson Kyle Bennett, mother and step-father Joyce and Harry Vandevere, father Conrad Kirschner, brother Champ Kirschner and former husband Robert Bennett, Sr.

Visitation will be Friday February 11th at Stateline Missionary Baptist Church (31384 Hwy. 62, Angie) from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the church at 3:00 pm with Bro. Trey Jenkins officiating.
