Rawland Wayne Crowe

June 16, 1954 - January 31, 2022

Rawland Wayne Crowe, age 67 and a resident of the Canaan Community, died late Monday night January 31, 2022 at his home. He was retired from Dairy Farmers of America after a career as a plant operator. Rawland served his country in the United States Air Force. He was truly an outdoorsman. Any type of hunting was his ultimate passion, with dove hunting possibly his favorite. Rawland also loved fishing, deer hunting and hearing the dogs run while rabbit hunting or simply being in the woods with his family and friends. Rawland adored his grandchildren and cherished the times they spent together learning about God’s great outdoors.

Survived by: Daughter: Jennifer Ezell of Pine; 4 Grandchildren: Gabby Ezell, Brooklyn Ezell, Denver Ezell, Sam Ezell all of Pine; Mother: Geneva Camaille Crowe of the Canaan Community; Brothers: Glenn Crowe, Jr., Farrell Crowe both of Franklinton; Sister and Brother in law: Melinda and Billy Stafford of Collinsville, MS; Nieces: Melissa Stafford, Eva Westmoreland, Ericka Crowe; Special Friends: Donette Wilson and her son Trenton; Also numerous other family members and friends

He was preceded in death by his father Glenn Crowe, son in law Denver “Denny” Ezell, II, longtime companion Carrie Mizell, niece Dallas Stafford and his grandparents.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Saturday February 5th from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Saturday with Rev. David Easterling officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in the Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery.
