Man Accused of Using & Selling Meth With Children Present

On Tuesday (February 22, 2022), detectives with the Washington Parish Sheriff’s Office Drug Task Force arrested Christopher Rashad Brown, age 32 and a resident of Lee Road. Brown was charged with selling and using methamphetamine in the presence of young children. He was jailed on charges of distribution of illegal drugs and three counts of use of illegal drugs in the presence of children. His bond was set at $150,000.

Brown has previous arrests in Washington parish beginning with a 2011 arrest for distribution of illegal drugs and obstruction of justice. He was arrested again in 2020 on two counts of distribution of illegal drugs, two counts of possession of illegal drugs with intent to distribute, obstruction of justice and traffic offenses.

“What type of person would use and sell meth in the presence of young children?” asked Sheriff Randy Seal. “I think every decent person knows the answer to that question. I am grateful to our narcotics detectives for their hard work in getting illegal drugs out of our parish.”
