Hammond Man Arrested on Charges of Child Exploitation

On Wednesday (February 9, 2022), Investigators from the Louisiana State Police Special Victims Unit – Baton Rouge Field Office in conjunction with Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation arrested 33-year-old Allen Bordelon of Hammond after they learned of his participation in child exploitation on a social media app. 

The initial investigation began on January 26, 2022, when Investigators began an undercover child exploitation case. During the course of the investigation, Bordelon was identified as having online conversations with an undercover FBI Agent posing as 13-year-old and 14-year-old females. During conversations with Bordelon, he detailed on numerous occasions the sexual acts he wanted to perform with the juvenile females.

Bordelon was located and arrested in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Jail for Indecent Behavior with a Juvenile (3 counts) and Computer Aided Solicitation of a Minor (3 counts). This remains an active investigation and further charges are pending.
