Covington Police Make Gun, Drugs, and Traffic Arrest

On Friday (February 18, 2022), Detectives with the Covington Police Department acted on a tip and conducted an investigation regarding narcotic activities on Martin Luther King Jr Drive. Detectives stopped a suspect vehicle driven by 19 year-old Zoshangana Alexander. 

Alexander was found to have approximately 118 grams of marijuana and possession of a fully-loaded Glock pistol, with a round in the chamber. 

Alexander was charged with Possession of Marijuana With Intent to Distribute, Drug-Free Zone Violation (Felony), Illegal Carrying of Weapons (Felony), and Driver Must be Licensed (Misdemeanor). 

CPD commended the hard work of their officers in combating drug and gun violence.
