Johnny Ray Barber
January 5, 1945 - January 26, 2022
Johnny Ray Barber, age 77 and a resident of Franklinton, died Wednesday January 26, 2022 at St. Tammany Parish Hospital. Johnny was a former Washington Parish school bus driver for the Pine Schools. In his younger days Johnny enjoyed fishing and he loved hearing the dogs run while deer and fox hunting. He liked selling his produce around the area, especially his watermelons.
Survived by: 2 Daughters and a Son: Laken Magee, BreAnna Barber, Corey Barber; Grandchildren: Dakota Barber, Nevaeh Carter, Emberly Magee, Jase Magee; 2 Brothers: Bobby Barber, Donald Barber
He was preceded in death by his oldest daughter LaTonya Barber, wife Susan Crawford, parents Frank Barber and Margaine Rowell Barber and sister Jenelle Bates.
Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home on Monday January 31st from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 pm with Bro. Jerry Barber officiating. Burial will follow in the Barber Family Cemetery.
