Judith "Judy" Jenkins Duncan

September 28, 1951 - January 24, 2022

Judith "Judy Jenkins" Duncan, age 70 and a resident of Mt. Hermon, died early Monday morning January 24, 2022 at Heritage Manor Nursing Home after a lengthy illness. She enjoyed reading books and cooking for her family and friends. Judy was always active and loved to stay on the go, visiting with people or especially helping others that may be in need.

Survived by: Daughter: Shana Duncan of Mt. Hermon; Son: Kenny Wayne Duncan of Bogalusa; Step-Daughter: Pamela Duncan Naquin of Bogalusa; Grandchildren: Autume Thomas, Audreana Thomas, Colleen Duncan, Christian Duncan, Tilor Duncan, Aaron Duncan; Step-Grandchildren: Robert Warren, Gregory Naquin; 4 Great-grandchildren: Brantley Duncan, Karisma Duncan, Jocelyn Duncan, Lincoln Keiff; Brother in law: Jimmy Duncan of Mt. Hermon; Sister in law: Virginia O’Bryant of Tylertown; Also numerous nieces, nephews and other family members

She was preceded in death by her daughter Lorenda Duncan, husband of 44 years Kenneth Ray Duncan, parents Van Jenkins and Audrey Nobles Jenkins, sisters Verlia Mae Miller, Mildred Creel, Carolyn Sharp, brothers Clayton Jenkins, Ottis Jenkins, Elton Jenkins, Carlos Jenkins and other family members.

Visitation will be at Crain Funeral Home Thursday January 27th from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm and after 9:00 am on Friday. A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 11:00 am Friday with Bro. Billy Reyer officiating. Burial will follow in the Van Jenkins Family Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to help with final expenses.
