Inetta Faye Brumfield

October 22, 1956 - January 19, 2022

I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.  Finally, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give to me on the Day, not to me only, but also to all who have loved his Appearing. II Timothy 4:7-8

On January 19, 2022, God sent his angels to surround and hold the hand of Inetta Faye Brumfield as she left this earth with her own set of wings.

Inetta Faye Brumfield known as Net was born on October 22, 1956 to Mae Dell Lewis and the late Johnny Lewis. She was a devoted mother, sister, friend, and grandmother. Inetta was mostly known as a strong-willed woman that loved to laugh and never give up. She was a graduate of Sullivan Institute in Bogalusa, LA and spent many years in healthcare.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, Alvin S. Brumfield; father, Johnny Lewis and grandmother, Harriet Brock.

She leaves behind to cherish her memories two children, Jermaine S. Brumfield of Covington, LA and Nikita (Joseph) Miles of Baton Rouge, LA; three grandchildren, Jaelynn Brumfield, Carson Miles, and Malena Miles; mother, Mae Dell Lewis of Mt. Hermon, LA; sisters, Judy (John) Hewitt, Lillie Lewis, and Michelle (Terry) Davis all of Mt Hermon, LA; brother, Michael (Tracy) Lewis, Sr. of Slidell, LA; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends

A Drive Through Viewing will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on January 28, 2022 at Crain and Sons Funeral Home in Franklinton, Louisiana. The Funeral Service will be at 2:00 PM on January 29, 2022 at Sweet Home Church of Christ Holiness USA in Franklinton.
