James Russell Pritchard
December 12, 1938 - January 1, 2022
James Russell Pritchard, age 83 and a resident of Angie, LA, passed away at his residence on January 1, 2022. He was born in Bogalusa, on December 12, 1938 and owned Pritchard Trucking Company until he retired. He was also a veteran that served his country in the Air Force.
Mr. Russell is survived by his wife Frances Roussell Pritchard; his sons Rusty (Cindy) Pritchard, Randy (Lisa) Pritchard, Reed (Angela) Pritchard; his daughter Rhonda Pritchard Scorsone; 10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren; and his brother David (Gayle) Pippin.
He is preceded in death by his parents David Samuel and Marie Gates Pritchard and a brother Buddy Pritchard.
A graveside service to celebrate Mr. Russell’s life will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022 at 11:00 am at Ponemah Cemetery. Rev. Marcus Rosa will officiate and interment will follow the graveside at Ponemah.
