On December 6, 2021, Washington Parish Sheriff Randy Seal formally recognized Corrections Deputy Kristen Slaven as the Corrections Deputy of the Quarter. In a ceremony in his office, Sheriff Seal presented Deputy Slaven with a plaque in recognition of her outstanding service to the Sheriff’s Office and Washington Parish.
“Kristen is a humble, no-nonsense deputy who effectively manages her duties,” stated Sheriff Seal. “She quietly tends to business and is our resident expert on any aspect of jail operations. Kristen is an asset and we are so glad she is part of the WPSO family.”
