Human Trafficking Arrest Made in McComb

On November 12, 2021, the Pike County Sheriff’s Office Detective Division, Narcotics Division, Agents with the Mississippi Bureau of Narcotics and Mississippi Bureau of Investigations received information regarding Human Trafficking in Pike County.

Information led Agents to the Days Inn in McComb, Ms. where Agents located a missing juvenile from Texas who had been missing for over a year. Agents arrested a James Joseph Thibo of Lafayette, LA. Thibo was charged with Procuring Prostitution 1st Offense and Possession of Controlled Substance. This case is still under investigation with other state and federal agencies.
