60 year-old Stephon E. James on the charge of Aggravated Second Degree Battery (Felony) and on fugitive warrants through St Tammany Parish Sheriff’s Office and Probation and Parole.
In the early morning hours of November 10, 2021, Officers with the Covington Police Department had responded near the intersection of N. Taylor Street and Schoultz Drive and found a male subject laying in the street, suffering from multiple stab wounds to the torso area. Aid was immediately rendered to the victim until Covington Fire Department and Acadian Ambulance Service arrived on scene. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
