Terrence Jermaine Dyson

August 07, 1989 - October 08, 2021

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3:5-6.

On Friday October 8, 2021 while in deep thought about what engine he could take apart and put back together, the angels disturbed his thoughts and said Terrence Jermaine Dyson your time is now. With parts and tools scattered, he packed his heavy heart and started on a new journey.

Terrence Dyson was born on August 7, 1989 to Rose Mary Dyson and Patrick Bailey.

At a young age Terrence accepted Christ in his life and was baptized at James Chapel C.O.G.I.C under the leadership of the late Rev. Amel Quillen Sr.

Terrence was a 2007 graduate of Jewel Sumner High and he attended Northshore Technical College for welding. He worked many years at Aggregate Industries. Terrence loved hanging with friends and family making sure everyone had a fully belly.

Terrence leaves to cherish is memories his father, Patrick Bailey, father-figure Jerry Barnes of Greensburg, LA, three brother Dexter (Melissa) Dyson of Hammond, LA, Keith Kelly and Patrick Bailey Jr. Three sisters, Jennifer (Coddy) Brumfield and Joyce Dyson all of Kentwood, LA and Aisha Jetson. Paternal Grandparents, Silas and Harriet Bailey; Special nephews-Aiden, Xavier, Armoni, Kemoreon, Kegan, Kylen and Jaziah; Special nieces-Ka’Mia and Jh’Rhianna. Two God-daughters, Za’Niara Johnson and Trinity Miller; Aunts Beckadine Brumfield, Frankie Jean Brumfield, Chris Jackson, Elaine Lewis-Burris, Alethea Harper and uncles, Willis Lavon Brumfield, Kennon Brumfield and Jermaine McCallister; Special friends who were like brothers-Demarqus Bickham, Justin Roberts, Walter Ricks and Jerimah “Denzel” Rheams; Devoted friends-Christopher Barze, Dantravion Burton and Cedric Addison.

Terrence was preceded in death by His mother Rose Mary Dyson, maternal grandparents Gienell and Calvin Dyson Sr. and one Uncle Calvin Dyson Jr. He will forever be loved and missed by many relatives and friends.

Crain and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
